Homework Guidelines

At Rokeby we believe that homework helps students embed their learning and develop independence.

Homework tasks will focus on consolidation of learning to help students practice and embed the content and skills learned during their lessons in school. On average each Key Stage 3 (Years 7-9) homework will be approximately 30 minutes long,  and Key Stage 4 (Years 10-11) homework will be at least 1 hour and 10 minutes long.

Students access their homework via Google Classroom and Class Charts.  Parents are able to review homework set by using the Class Charts application on their phones.
